New Zealand - Lake Tekapo > Queenstown > Milford

OK - So in Teresa's words the campervan is now in play!! It is much more fun than I had imagined.. There is everything you could imagine needing in a home (apart from cheese grater!).. But with the added fun of driving a 3.2ltr diesel van!..
The bed is entertaining.. There was a concern at first of me falling out although I have not fallen out of bed since I was 3 (I actually didn't wake up when that happened either!) But no its fine and to be honest we have been so shattered with all the driving and activities could have slept anywhere..
We left Christchurch and had a 3 1/2hr drive to Lake Tekapo, very pretty stunning colours and a good first stop.. Made sure we did a big supermarket shop on the way out so had a BBQ dinner when we arrived..
Then headed south to Queenstown, did not expect to fall head over heals in love with a place but so we did.. Nestled on a hill over looking yet another beautiful lake it is a stunning town with a holiday atmosphere and buzz, just our sort of place.. So much so that we have come back tonight for another night of good beer and chats!! (have not found anyone with anything negative to say about this place!!).. Yesterday we started our day at 5am on our hot air balloon ride.. Blimey what an experience that was, view were spectacular, we went above the clouds to for some amazing pics of the morning sun.. Then champagne on landing!!.. We then did the long journey to milford and its stunning lakes and waterfalls.. On the way we did the glow worm caves which were very random but cool.. I have done 2 boats in 48 hours and have not felt ill so think progress has been made..
Now back in bed in Queenstown.. Heading to a place called Wanaka tomorrow for lunch then onto Franz Joseph where we have 2 nights booked so can chill out from driving for a bit!
Loads of Love to all..
