Hey all
Well on our second full day in Hong Kong and still trying to get the body clock working properly..!!! Doesn't help that this place really kicks off at night so you want to be out and about!
Well we had our tour yesterday, saw fishing villages, floating restaurants and jewellery making, plus visited stanley market on Hong Kong Island.. Its been really foggy here (it is winter) although we are still walking around in flip flops and te-shirts, although by the harbour it is a tad windy!
We ate Dim Sum yesterday, a type of chinese tapas plus Jasmine Tea.. Very nice although we chose possibly the most non-tourist restuarant in Hong Kong, after struggling to order for 10 min with the chinese menu (they found the english one after hunting around..) they then had us struggling with chops sticks for 5 minutes before putting us out of our misery by handing us forks!!!
Anyway it is a fantasic place, similar to New York but with reminants of its British past everywhere.. We have seen old women doing their Tai Chi in the local gardens, a dude doing yoga in a park above a motorway!!
Anyway off for some more exploring..
Cheerio
